- Mr. Grant is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys and serves on the admissions committee of the Illinois Chapter and is Chair of the website committee.
- Mr. Grant has been named as one of 20 Top Divorce Attorneys in the Chicago metropolitan area by North Shore Magazine. His peers have voted him one of the Illinois Leading Attorneys in Family Law, and as an Illinois Super Lawyer in 2006.
- Joan C. Grant served as Chair of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, after chairing numerous other sub-committees and projects of the Chicago Bar, and was elected to the Board of Managers for a two-year term.
